For Billy & Joanna, California is a place that holds a lot of special memories for them, from their first vacation together as a couple to now the location where they became man and wife. They knew that they wanted an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family, so they chose to hold their ceremony at San Francisco City Hall with an additional visit to Yosemite afterwards, a place near and dear to their hearts. These two sweet souls wanted a celebration that would feel authentic and meaningful, a reflection of their love for each other.

There's no greater joy than designing for and planning with a couple that puts their full trust in me, and Michelle & Kurtis were one of those couples. With a shared love of simplicity in mind, we set out to design a wedding that captured the sweetness of Michelle & Kurtis's love story.

Our Honeymoon: Kanazawa

On our fifth day in Japan, we headed from Tokyo to Kanazawa - a city on the west coast of Japan's main island. After exploring the busy streets of Tokyo, the relative quietness of Kanazawa was a nice breath of fresh air, as we explored the famous garden Kenroku-en, and visited the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.

Our Honeymoon: Tokyo

We started off our honeymoon/first-anniversary celebration trip in Tokyo, where we spent the first four and a half days exploring both the hustle and bustle, as well as the quieter neighborhoods of the city. Our visit to Tokyo was focused on food & shopping, and I've listed a few of my favorites down below!
